• Hi wp community,

I’ve been researching a lot about wp and drupal for my company’s website upgrade project.

We are looking at building a site that can serve as both our business and consumer site.

Our primary inspiration so far is samsung.com because it has the e-commerce well integrated.

From all the positive feedbacks I’ve been reading about WP, I’m sure anything can be done, but how? Since samsung’s store is using samsung.com domain, Would “Store” be a separate site inside the main site? I’m trying to figure out how the features can be implemented in a WP system so I know what I’m getting myself into. Would someone explain how samsung.com’s “Store”, “My Account”, and “Support” section can be made in WP system?

    Anyhelp would be appreciated.

  • Depends on how you want to go about it
you can either create subdomains and install individual wp (say support.your-site.com, store.your-site.com
for support ticketing system you could use something like (http://zendesk.com – which has a well integration plugin for WordPress)

Or the other way is to create a e-commerce theme and add pages (support/my account)
You could use something like (Woo-Commerce) (or WP-Commerce) for the e-com functionality.
