What is the deal with this message:

    Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /wordpress/wp-admin/post.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It's an issue with mod_security that you need to talk to your host about. search

Oh, ok. Well, my host said she had the same problem as well. And she thought it might be a problem with Wordpress.

I've talked to my host. She said she's never heard of mod_security. I've talked to a few other people as well and they haven't heard of it either. /:

Are you running an Apache server? If so, I find it incredible your host doesn't know what this is.

It seems I only get this message when I try to publish a long post. How can I fix it?

What needs to be done with the mod_security in order to fix the issue?

JN - your host needs to fix the mod_security issue. That's what fixes it.

grl - the link that dr. mike provided shows *many* posts with several solutions.

doodlebee- that link that he posted didn't give me the answer I was looking for. it doesn't tell me what I'm supposed to do with the mod_security or anythings.

Funny. First link says "If your host is running mod-security, have them turn it off."

5th one down says to check with your host and see if you can use .htaccess to go around it.

Right there's two solutions I found in a bout 2 seconds after clicking on Dr's link. There's a whole bunch more there, too.

What other answer do you need?

No need to be rude about this whole thing.
