    in the old wordpress (i think the version before the current one)- there were options on aligning photos and opening links in a new window – using drop down windows. it was much easier b/c i didn’t have to enter any code – i just had to choose open in a new window and align left from a drop down window.

    is there a way to bring the drop down windows back for picture alignment and link opening?

    Depends on what you’re looking at now. 🙂

    I have a feeling that the rich text editor got turned off somehow. Dashboard -> Users -> Your profile -> Check that box for the rich text editor and Save Changes.
