• I have installed a number of blogs, each in a separate subdomain. I would like to set up a single themes directory (in my root or elsewhere) and have each of the blogs look there for style info. The intent is to be able to tweak the custom themes that I share between blogs, without having to make the same tweak for each installation. How do I go about redirecting where the blogs look for the themes directory?

(Yes, I have looked into wpmu. Unfortunately, my hosting plan doesn’t support the requirements.)

    Thanks.

  • I’m bumping this thread since I have exactly the same need. I’d appreciate any help.

Dous anybody has a clue? I needed this to.

I’m now looking for the same answer. My first thought is to use symbolic links but I am having some glitches. My thought was to set up a master themes directory and then link each of the wp-content\themes to the master themes directory. I’m reletively new to wordpress so I don’t know how this going to work. Has anyone else tried it?
