Posts as pages effecting SEO?

    Hey Everyone,
    My theme is set up for photography. Each post, functions as a portfolio automatically and so pages aren’t really needed.

    Well, I read somewhere, that having pages set up as posts, can affect your SEO negatively. Does anyone know if this is true? Should I attempt to migrate my work over to work as pages?
