Using PHP to change CSS color in custom post type

    I was wondering how I could create a custom post type, I also wanted to know how I could use php to change a css color because I was trying to create a post type for the portfolio section of my website where the theme color of the clients site will chow it a 2px wide bar over their site screenshot and I could change that from the “Add new post” area by specifying a hexadecimal color that will appear over the screenshot
