Nextgen: clicking on thumbnails – browser freezes or crashes

    Using lastest nextgen 1.9.7.
    I haven’t noticed this because on my computer this doesn’t happen but people looking at my galleries have told me that when clicking on a thumbnail that their browser either freezes or crashes. Occurs on Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome browsers. I tried using nextgen gallery optimizer plugin and it messed up all my galleries (in that clickin on the thumbnails brought up the image on a static page and not in the lightbox.

    Need advise on what to do to fix?
