I have one product with SKU:0001

I want a promotion where buyers can enter code to get certain dollar value off:

I get the promo code field at checkout, and if i enter wrong code – it tells me the code is not valid. But if i enter correct code – nothing happens. I’ve tried other promotion types – same problem.

    Code: SAVE7
    Description: Save $7
    Users: (empty/none)
    Products: 0001
    Products Inclusion: Include
    Type: Pricing value
    Value: 7
    Expiration: (empty/none)

A small update: Just discovered that if i set “Product Inclusion” to Exclude – then the discount is applied.

So i must be misunderstanding what that option actually does.

    A couple of thoughts:

    1) the list of products can be blank – which means all products are included (I’ve updated the quick help to reflect that)

    2) you can’t use SKU in that box. It’s a comma-separated list of post IDs (again, I’ve updated the quick help) – which explains why it didn’t work when you had it set to “include”.

    ok, that makes sense
    thanks for the update.

I’m having a problem getting the coupon codes to work too. I have customers that are trying to use a Christmas discount code I gave out for 15% off on 52teas.com — “HOHOHO2012” but it won’t work. I can’t get it to work no matter what I try. I could really use some help on this. I’ve got customers tweeting about the broken code. =(
