Not connecting to mqsql database

    hello so i am running OSX server for mountain lion on my macbook pro and im hosting my website on it. but when i when to install WordPress and i had to do the connecting to a database. i just made a data base on my godaddy account. but for some season the local wordpress wont connect to it help

    Virtually all hosts will not allow connections to their database servers from an external source (like your local server). You need to use a locally hosted database on your local server.
