   Is it possible to use wordpress to create a discussion like this one? I want to create a forum that does not look like the usual forums.

   Or something like this board
   http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/wwwboard.html

   Any help is highly appreciated.

   This site (wordpress support) runs on bbPress.

   The example you linked to could be done as a simple WP theme. Basically, remove the_content or the_excerpt from the theme's index.php so your The_Loop is just listing titles.

   handysolo, it could be. but how can i make a new user to write a new topics without going thru wordpress control panel?

   Um. Simple Forums can be made to look pretty much like your example. It's all in the css.
