Migrating to a new custom theme

    Hi there,

    I’ll apologise in advance for my naivity in all things WordPress!

    I’m hoping to buy a new custom theme for my blog (we already have a Woo themes theme installed). I have two questions:

    1) Can I just install the new one and will it migrate every previous post over? Will this affect SEO?

    2) If I change the categories that I’m using, will this affect SEO?

    Yes

    Possibly as a great of SEO is dependant upon the theme’s markup.

    Sorry but I;m not sure if you understand what SEPO actually is. It is not something that is added onto a site. It is built into every part of the site – including the content and how/where you file it to some extent.
