• sorry – could’t find an answer in the macuser forums so i try to ask here.
if i connect to my webspace with “cuteftp mac” im not able to see the files that start with a dot.
i installed tinker tool and adjusted the settings on cute ftp but they are still not visible.
i only got my first mac (iBook G4) about a week ago – so i still have some slight problems.
if i rename the htaccess-template that came with “kubrick” on my webspace to .htaccess it disappears… – same on my ibook!
    anyone able to help?
    thanks a lot

    thanks for your quick reply!
i changed that though the actual version looks totally different…
it now says “show hidden remote files and folders” and “show local hidden files and folders”.
activating this doesn’t change a thing! still can’t see them…
but thanks anyway – must have something to do with my mac
could do it with my windows pc but i avoid using it since my ibook arrived on the fourth of august. in the meantime i found out that i wasted at least ten years of my life because i didn’t get me a mac ten years ago! i love it!
