elipse portfolio and gallery

I was curious if anyone knew how to get more than 4 photos available to display in the portfolio on an eclipse theme. If it is at all possible to do this. Also when you have a gallery set up in a post, is there a way to have the images open big when you click them, instead of them going to a new page and then opening up in their own window blown up. Like a short cut to take out those extra clicks and make the gallery photo open big as the ones do for the portfolio images.
