I know there’s little hope for help with a plugin this old, but maybe someone with just a little more knowledge than me can help. Basically, this was working in my multisite environment just fine until I was ready to make the site “live” and used the domain mapping plugin to give it its own domain. Now I get one quote, and then the word “loading” freezes on the screen.

Quite simply, my new domain is trying to access the ajax PHP file at my old domain. I understand the problem, but I don’t know how to fix it. Here is the error message:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://www.vpeglobal.com/snapcrate/wp-content/plugins/stray-quotes/inc/stray_ajax.php. Origin http://www.snapcrates.com is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

    Any ideas?

What I ended up doing was simply turning off ajax in the settings. I had a slideshow on the page, and the constant flashing of both was distracting anyway.

Another solution, the first that I found, worked fine because I only use this plugin on ONE of my WP Multisite sites, and that involved editing stray_quotes.php to manually set the path of the plugin.
