Sub folder with separate WordPress install too

HI,

The main website has a wordpress installation, in a subfolder of that same website /other is a separate unique wordpress with it’s own database. Can we install backwpup plugin, in the /other folder and run backups of that environment too? On paper it seems it should work, but thought I’d ask before conducting any experiments. Jobs would run on different days to not have any confusion.
