Allowing pingbacks and trackbacks

    In discussion settings, I have checked the boxes for “attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article” and “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)”. But when I save my new settings, my check disappears. I have tried repeatedly but am unable to get the system to accept my request that these functions be my default.

    Any idea how I can get this done?
