I am using windows 7 and trying to install wordpress on a wamp server.

After the installation process i get a blank screen with just the wordpress logo instead of a screen with the logo and userid and password.

Also if i check the database no user records are inserted and user table shows zero records.

The installation process failed completely. Try re-installing.

Personally, I’d recommend using EasyPHP on Win7 rather than WAMP. It’s far easier to set up. Have a read of http://quirm.net/2011/05/05/installing-wordpress-locally-using-easyphp/

I am trying to instal WordPress on a sub-domain using Fantastico.

After asking the installation on the sub-domain I get the following message:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user ‘disselc’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1354194273.6461BimR1SAJ0J on line 2825

What does this mean an how do I fix it?
