   My wordpress blog has 2x the same usernames in the database. For example Tim and tim. How is it possible to only have one uniqe username?

   With all due respect, john and John are not the same - user names are case sensitive!

   That is what I want to prevent. Maybe technically they are not the same. But for the users on the weblog they are the same.
