I am clueless!! how does this work?

    I’ve activated the plugin on WP, I’ve activated the widget and it shows up on my WP pages. I’ve listed mailchimp and its id. Then what happens? Where does the email address go to? (am also new to MailChimp). Sorry if I sound like an idiot!!

    Have no clue what you mean by extracting and using form code or why would you. I’d love to use your plugin but am entirely confused by the instructions. (I have successfully used other plugins on other sites). THANKYOU!

    Hello again, ok, so I have established that MailMonkey got the email address! But there was no email confirmation sent to my address. How might I fix that function? thank you.

    Hi boplinger,

    If you are using MailChimp you don’t need to bother with “extracting the right form settings”, you can just use the MailChimp API, which I recommend. Then all you need to provide is your MailChimp API key and your list-id. Make sure you leave “Prevent double opt-in” unchecked and test with an emailaddress that is NOT already on your list.
