Better WP security crashes site after activation

    Hi,

    I’ve used the plugin a lot before and never had this issue. As soon as it installs and I click on “activate plugin” I have no access to admin panel. it’s as if the plugin already assumed a different URL, but I don’t even get to see the check list and the normal admin/longin hiden URLs don’t work.

    This is the same host I’ve always used and it’s only happening in this site. As soon as I activate, it goes to 404 error.

    Please help.

    Same problem here. Just upgraded WP from 3.4.1 to 3.4.2, now can’t access my wp-admin.

    Site itself seems to be unaffected, however I cannot access backend. Tried using 2 different IP addresses, no luck.

    Please advise!

    Hi Dantehicks,

    I just confirmed what I suspected. I originally installed wordpress in spanish so I don’t have to do all the localization hassle that usually comes with installing it in english (I had never done that before), so I figured that if this was the only different thing in my installation as opposed to the others, then it would probably have something to do with some custom path or something like that.

    I basically installed WP in english from scratch and now it works fine. You probably installed it in another language as well.
