That post seems to be about the admin bar, but I’m not using that admin bar.
The problem I’m having is with the profile tabs. The tab is Events/My Profile. Do you have any other ideas or will this also work with the profile tabs? Thanks.
Thanks. I read that post, but it looks like that would remove the entire tab, which I don’t want. I just want to remove the location link from “My Events”, but I want to leave the event itself in tact. Also, I want to leave the “events I’m attending” in tact. I only want to get rid of the location or turn it into text instead of a link. Do you have any other ideas?
You’d need to modify the $bp variable and remove things from there.
Best way to figure that out is by outputting $bp somewhere e.g.
global $bp; echo "<pre>"; print_r($bp); echo "</pre>";
to see what’s in tehre, but what you probably want is in:
$bp[‘bp_options_nav’][‘event’]

yes, that would go in your theme functions.php however you can also see some sample snippet in my previous post
e.g.
function my_remove_em_nav() {
global $bp;
bp_core_remove_subnav_item($bp->groups->slug,'group-events');
}
add_action( 'bp_setup_nav', 'my_remove_em_nav' );
but just replaced it with what you need and try what @marcus suggestion used print_r($bp); to see what’s in there.
