gzip crushes theme on some computers

    I’m using tiga theme. With gzip compression on (wp-cache off), stylesheet is not loading on some computers. Users see unformatted posts, no theme or style.
    The problem goes away if accessing through proxy (such as proxbypass.com).
    The problem seems totally random: same browsers give different results: some show the theme, others don’t.
    Does anyone have an idea where the problem might be?
