Google Embedder & Safari

I am new to WordPress and just learning to build my first site. I have installed and activated Google Embedder into my site and want to use it to display a PDF version of my résumé. In Safari (my browser of choice!) the image of the PDF does not display, the link to download the PDF is there however, and works great!

In Firefox the PDF does show as well as the download link so I assume that I have it installed correctly?!

Any tips or advice as to,how to make it view correctly using Safari?
