• Hello all,

    I’ve recently switched over from Blogger and managed to modify the main page of my blog (digitaldreammachine.com/blog) to accept 500 pixel width images. However:

    1. when I click on an individual post link, the text is still aligned to the left outside of the page border. Any idea on how can I resolve that?
    2. On the individual post pages, my sidebar does not show. Again, how can I resolve this?

    I’m not a CSS/PHP expert but can muddle my way through..

    I can post my page template(s) if necessary.

    Thanks in Advance.

    wow. I see help is frequent around here. 😉

    style.css (line 245)

    .widecolumn {
    	padding: 0px 0 0px 0;
    	margin: 0px 0 0 0px;
    	width: 450px;
    	}

    change to

    .widecolumn {
    	padding: 0 0 0 20px;
    	margin: 0;
    	width: 450px;
    	}

    I am not sure why your post got ignored, but it might have helped to include a link to your page right in the post to save people checking your profile.

    Oh and you have some very nice pictures on there 🙂

    TimoK: Much thanks. That did the trick for the padding. I didn’t even try that one. The previous and next story links are right up against the single post title, but I imagine I can reduce the size of the story title text to prevent that from happening.

    Now to figure out how to get the sidebar to show up on single posts.

    I’ve kept the Kubrick theme because it is clean and easy to read. Though I may switch over to another theme or create my own at some point.

    I’ve always enjoyed photography and have done it for years, but these latest ones from my new surroundings are to show others where I’m lucky enough to work and live for now.

    There’s an easy fix for the sidebar issue here:http://forum.easywordpress.com/f19/basic-editing-default-kubrick-theme-59/

    Thanks Minerva22! I’ve made the changes today. Happy Holidays!
