• Am gettiing an annoying error message in the sitemaps created using the google sitemaps plugin. What’s going on?

    Error message:

XML Parsing Error: junk after document element

    Location: http://www.mnsclipfeed.com/sitemap.xml
    Line Number 3409, Column 1:<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
    ^

What’s going on? Anyone else have this problem? Is it something I can just go into the plugin and fix? I get the feeling I’ve got a bracket that’s screwed up or something. Don’t know how that could have happened but I’m getting the error.

    Suggestions? Thanks!

I’m running WordPress 2.0.5 and Google Sitemaps 3.0b4.

Help? I can’t even plug my sitemap into dreamweaver to see where the error is since dreamweaver says its too much text.

I don’t now it happened, but your sitemap appears to have been generated twice and appended to itself. My advice is to remove the sitemap.xml file entirely and regenerate the sitemap.
