unable to create newposts as contributor in wordpress

hello
i have just installed wordpress multisite and i have created a new site..
then i have added a new user as Contributor…
now when i login as contributor in dashboard all i see is new post option and when i click on new post i’m redirected to edit profile page….
i tried to create new users but the result is same…
i’m also using baw login/out redirect and userrole editor plugins in my network…

any help is appriciated.. thank you
