2.0.x release notifications

In the past, I’ve relied on my Dashboard to notify me when there’s a new version of WordPress. But now I discover there’s a 2.0.8 that never appeared on the Dashboard! I know 2.1 is the latest version, but 2.0.x is still being maintained. Aren’t there going to be any notifications when a new 2.0.x version is released?
