Stattracking with WordPress?

Previously I had been using statcounter.com in order to monitor my site traffic. I had to add the little code for each individual html. I recently set up WordPress and realized that since I only have one index.php, the code isn’t going to track each individual page anymore.

Any suggestions on a good stat tracker and how to make it work with WordPress? Actually, I kind of found statcounter by accident and I’m not really sure what the most popular (best) is. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
