    Hi,

I am thinking of buying the paid version of this plugin.
    Is it possible that :
    1) I create an attribute from Product – > Attribute.
    2) Then I go and set the Attribute values in the “Attributes” tab of each Product (I would anyways have to do this to display the Product Specifications).
    3) Can the Attributes that I have selected for Comparison pick up the values that have already been specified in the “Attributes” tab of Product.

This would save us from entering the same attribute value twice.

    Thanks,
    Anuja Bothra

  • Dear Mr Truman,
I’m interested in this feature too!

You wrote “They all show a N/A value until you assign a value. Compare Products cannot know what values you want to assign to each product.”

I think it just should use the already created attributes fields for comparison. At least it would be great if you would make it as an extra option. Otherwise I see no sense in filling out the “Compare Feature Fields” with the same contents, which already have been prefilled as attributes. This is very annoying. 🙁

    An answer would be great!

    Thanks,

I see that this topic is marked as resolved however I do not see a answer. I have the same question. I have a site for horse feed and need to compare ingredients and vitamins etc. I have entered hundreds of attribute fields at the product level and would hope to not have to enter and maintain the same set of data in a second place.
