I am my site's admin
My Admin panel's Manage Posts page is for some reason attributing my posts to the latest member to register. (actually - the latest user registered as a subscriber, i changed his role to author)
why does my admin panel keep attributing this author to my posts?
Same situation here. Would anyone happen to know why or have a solution?

I am having this issue as well.. Did anyone ever find a solution?
I'd try turning off your plugins and seeing if this still occurs. May have one in there mucking something up.

Yeah I have this problem with pages. Set up my blog and created a few new pages. The owner of these pages is listed as admin.
Then I created a new user, let's say they're called bob, and gave them administrator rights. Now if I log in as admin and create a new page the page owner is set to bob. On the new page creation page there is a drop down menu to set the author. This has only one entry - bob.
New posts are owned by the correct author though.
I have no plugins installed.

Try making some change to your admin in the Users tab. I think it may be related to this problem:
