I keep reading that wordpress 2.1 has a WYSIWYG editor packaged with it and I see the TinyMCE files on my server.

How do I enable the WYSIWYG editor?

I’m on a Mac with 10.4 and Safari 2.04 and I have the latest Firefox as well.

  • I’m willing to be wrong, but I don’t think you’ll see it with Safari.

Turn it on by visiting Users -> Your Profile and checking the top checkbox. If it still doesn’t show up in Safari, try with Firefox.

Thanks. I can see the WYSIWYG editor on my PC at work. You are correct about Safari though, it does not work.
