Author Tag Linking To Site Root

    WordPress version: 3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.8.7

    Also running lastest version of Genesis and the lastest version of Focus Theme.

    I did this:
    Activated The WordPress SEO Plugin

    I expected the plugin to do this:
    Not redirect my author (link) after post title (meta data) to the homepage

    Instead it did this:
    Redirects my author link to the homepage.

    I deactivated the WordPress SEO plugin and my author link links to the author archives.

    I really want to use the WordPress SEO plugin and have my author link actually link to my author archive page. How am I able to achieve this?

    I do have the disable author archives unchecked.
