Email Confirmations?

I have tried everything to get my recipient emails to work? The administrator (copy) email is working okay but the person who completes the form is not getting the automated response (although the system is logging the data)

I’ve tried Advanced Settings -Email Send Method PHP and removed the Security Enable nonce check

Any ideas??????
