Installation Error Password

I uninstalled wordpress at godaddy after having self inflicted problem on updating incorrectly. When reinstalled and got to create a password it did not matter that I followed the critia to the tee it would not accept any password that I used to reinstall in my WordPress directory. How do I clear out this password problem on the server so I can put in a password and reinstall WordPress. Help.
