No,that’s not correct. It seems like the yourls expander didn’t pull out the full link, and just returned the API query. Definitely not what’s expected. What versions of everything are you using? (WP to twitter and yourls)

    Thanks for the quick response…

    Re: versions…

    WP to Twitter is 2.4.13
    Yourls is 1.5.1
    Wordpress is 3.4.2

These are all the latest from what I can tell…

I can’t see an obvious way that this could be a WP to Twitter fault; it seems more likely a Yourls problem – although I do want to make sure I prevent any URL with a password parameter from ending up stored.

Question: did this happen just once, or has it happened several times?

Although I also just noticed that I haven’t updated this chunk of code since Yourls 1.4; so maybe they changed the return data. I’ll check on that.

Thank you… I’ve only noticed this once btw, but will let you know if it happens again…

My Yourls installation has gone pop… no idea why but I’ll be using the internal wordpress shortener for WP to Twitter which is cool with me…

    Thanks again for your help…
