I uploaded all the files from an existing blog (with no posts as of yet) plug ins and all to a blog folder in the root directory of a completely different URL.

Set up a new database in the cpanel of the new URL and then followed the config instructions exactly to replace the wp-config.php file that was already there.

Then I followed the net installation instruction and went to

    http://mynewdomain.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php
and this is the message that came back:

    Already Installed

You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

So what I need to know apparently is where do I find the database file and what do I need to do to it after I download it in order to clear the contents of my old database, which, of course, came from the original blog.

Thank you in advance for your help.
