Hi fncll
YouTube controls this functionality 😉
If you hover back on the player the thumbnails should reappear or if you press the playlist logo in the bottom right corner:

Thanks. My confusion stems from the fact that hovering doesn’t reveal the thumbnails, though the playlist icon does. I fear that most viewers won’t know the latter method and will end up doing (an annoying) a back and forth to refresh the window to see thumbnails.
If I could get the hover working, this plugin would be much more useful. Any ideas when might be preventing it?
ok, here is how it works on my setup:
When I fx use this shortcode
[youlist pid="PL3FF15AA7ED356D9F"]
I get the thumbnail-bar, and when I press play, it goes down and dissappears, when I hover over the player it shows up again.
If I press “pause” it shows.
On the other hand, if I use
[youlist pid="PL3FF15AA7ED356D9F" showinfo="0"]
the thumbnails are not shown, but if I press the playlist button in the bottom right corner it appears.
The default is showinfo="1"
, so
[youlist pid="PL3FF15AA7ED356D9F"]
should be the same as [youlist pid="PL3FF15AA7ED356D9F" showinfo="1"]
I agree with you that it would be better YouTube would allow us to keep the thumbnailview up during playback 😉
So you don’t have the same experience?
