• Hi

    My site was hacked this morning. With help of my hosting company, I got a backup online. So that is when I started installing security plugins and all.

    I also changed by password, and I found that I had to change my Database password.

    So what I did: I logged into Cpanel, went to preferences and clicked on ‘change password’. (also marked: ‘Allow MySQL password change’)

    Now I look at my website but my Incapsula account says my website can’t be reached.

    So I went to my ftp-server. and opened up WP-Config.php file.
    And edited: define(‘PASSWORD, ‘new password’);

    and copied the wp-config file back to my ftpserver. But I still get an error in my wp-admin window.

    What am I missing? Or what am I doing wrong?

    Can anyone give me pointers cause I am really not good at this.

    Thanks upfront.
