Hello, first off I am a volunteer who’s job it is to figure out how to do stuff with our website when the board asks for a change. So… I do what I do for free. I don’t know php at all. I do know a bit of html, but I usually just research how to do something which makes me very dangerous. When I open up a page loaded with code it scared me to death, so I need to know the following:

How easy is this plugin to use? I don’t see any screenshots other than a screenshot of a page, which tells me nothing.

Will it take a single post category and make that category show as a page in my header?

    Here is our website: http://wpfstudio.org/
Here is the category that I want to show up as a (continuous) page that links on the horizontal bar at the top. http://wpfstudio.org/category/sense-of-place/
My board wants this page to show the whole (HUGE) category as one huge freeking page with all the photos and all. Yes, they make me nuts.

I hope someone can help me out. This org has no money, so I can’t hire someone to do this for me. And… I’m learning from the experience.
    Thanks for all your help.

We’re sorry, this plugin won’t help you to achieve that: you’ll need to tweak theme files by hand. It’s not as complicated as it sounds, but it requires you either to learn something new (look to the WP wiki at codex.wordpress.org) or to find someone to do it.

Also: WordPress should be upgraded and mantained, and you really should upgrade your installation if it’s still 3.0.5, otherwise many plugins will just have issues (and your website is vulnerable as well).

My advice is to post the request on the http://jobs.wordpress.net/ board or – at least – try to find out local help: there’s always someone learning things waiting for an opportunity, even more if you’re a non-profit organization. I don’t know how the non-profit works in the UK, but I’m sure there will be some way to help this.

    Good luck!
