    Hello Guys,

I just installed wordpress 2.1 on my server.
I installed it in a new directory
    http://www.domain.com/blog

Now.. I want to know how I can have a full site managed using Wordpres.. is it possible.

Here is what I want ..

My index page ie. http://www.domain.com should contain a preview of my latest photos and latest pictures. Are there any plugins available for this ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

Well considering with that setup it's going to be sitting outside of the blog, plugins wouldn't work.

Why not just install the blog to your site root?

    For a flexible home page

You have the ability for a static home page built in to v2.1

You'll need to move the index.php to the root:

    Hi,

    Thanks for the replies.
Samboll .. You reply almost resolves the query, But I want that as soon as I write a new post, it should automatically update a part of my main page (where there is a table for recent posts) . Is it possible ? or Can it be possible with iframes ?

    Thanks in advance.

If u have a 'recent posts' section on your main page any creation/modifications to a post should be reflected in that section.
