   Hi,

   I've been using the simple but effective wp-amazon to generate affiliate links to amazon, but it doesn't seem to work with 2.1.

   Is there a fix or another plugin that can do the same things.

   the author's site says the following:
   "WP-Amazon is broken in WordPress 2.1… a new Ajax based version is coming out soon"

   So...isn't there anything else that works? I seem to remember David Chait had a plugin like that too, but it's not listed as working with 2.1 either.

   I've briefly tested CG-Amazon with 2.1. While I need to update the admin checks to use 2.x style security, I didn't have any functional problems with searching for a product, adding a product to my personal db, or cg-inline display of a product within a post. haven't done a sidebar test, but that's similar to inline (in code).

   If someone finds problems, please report them to me via comments on the plugin on my site. Thanks!

   I'm working on both an enhanced CG-Amazon 1.x (wp2.x cleanup, might even add Widget support), but then jumping to a 'commercial-style' plugin as the next generation of it which will be able to support other web-service-ready shops (I've had requests for spreadshirt & cafepress so far...).
