   <aI have revamped my WordPress website and played with backgrounds and transparecy (not in IE<7, though). Please let me know what you think. Especially I'd like to know how you experience scrolling, because I experience it being a bit jerky, and I consider to make the backgruond image not fixed (which is the reason for this behaviour).

   Nah. That could be your graphics card. I have no jerkyness thing while scrolling in Mac/Firefox.

   You probably didn't see it because I replaced the fixed background some days later. Now the background scrolls with the page.
