• I thought I finally had it kind of figured out – my site looks OK in IE and Opera – but in Firefox, my main centre column hangs off to the right of the page like it’s trying to escape! Can anyone help? I have tried lots of different things – but am a php newbie. It might not even be a php issue, it could be the CSS? Oh dear….

  • miaow,
Have you fixed this problem? I’m looking at your site with FF 0.92 and it seems fine.

Noooo. I am still trying to fix it. However I’ve just checked what version of FF I’m running, and it’s 0.8 – so maybe that’s the issue? I will upgrade and see what happens, but it doesn’t help my friends that (I assume) also have old FF *sigh*

OK, I’ve upgraded – it’s better, but still a little odd. I can’t figure out what I need to tweak to make it look like it does in IE. Can anyone help? I’m quite stuck.

Firefox handles CSS differently than IE. i’ve never tried Opera so i can’t help you there. my site has spacing issues when viewed with IE vs Firefox.

Looks fine in FF 0.9.2 and Opera 7.5.1. Dunno about FF 0.8 though, I uninstalled it already..

There is so much bad javascript on that page that it brought my whole system down just by trying to access the css. Thanks. .

Hmmm. I don’t really know how to fix bad javascript, but I can now view it OK in Opera, the latest verstion of FF and IE so I’m a bit happier. In FF there are still a few issues i.e. text wrapping around images – but I’m thinking that must be a CSS thing?
Can’t believe it brought your whole system down! That’s Bad!!

    It was.
