    I upgraded from 2.05 to 2.1. I thought everything went well with the upgrade beside my theme being just a bit out of date.

    I just went to the write post page in the admin panel, and have only a blank page.
    I must be missing files somewhere, but can't figure it out.
    I have no problem going to an existing post, and hitting edit...it takes me to where I need to be.

    It's just when I want to write a new post. Please help.
    Thanks

    Have you tried to clear out your browser cache and do a frced reload of the page that you're looking at?

    yes, I did try to reload the page. I ended up finding the missing file in the admin directory. I FTPed it to the directory on my server...I can write posts now.
    BUT....
    And a big BUT it is, I wrote 2 pretty long posts, and everything seemed to go well until I looked at the main page of my blog. The title of the posts are there, but the body content is blank.

    Now what could be the issue???

    I'm having the same 'empty posts' problem. I noticed on the WYSIWYG - when I mouse over the options like add image and font color it shows {$lang_img_desc}

    Am I missing a lang file?

    I just tried deleting and then reinstalling the files and no luck. :(

    I just resent a bunch of the files from directory wp-includes/js/tinymce to my server. I think I was missing a couple out of there, and a couple of them ended up getting sent as 0mb.

    This remedied the situation. Maybe that is your issue too, Kaknu?

    I deleted the includes/js/tinymce folder and reinstalled it...didn't resolve anything for me. :(

    I figured out my issue. I found the answer here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/102581?replies=6 I just had to clear the cache. *sigh*
