self hosted wordpress site and wordpress community

    Hi,

    I recently put up a self hosted wordpress site. Was curious, if I make a new post, will it show up in the wordpress community feeds for them to see or is there something additional I need to setup to do this.

    I tried searching this and can’t seem to word this question correctly.

    Please explain your understanding of above…I do not know what ‘wordpress community feeds‘ refer to…

    If you are referring to an RSS Feed or how to get your site/post listed with search engines (SEO), then please specify.

    Hey thx for the reply.

    No asking about search engines. I’ll try and be clearer

    Basically. I had my wordpress site hosted at imtiazwahmed.wordpress.com. When I would make a post, other users with pages hosted on wordpress would see my page, and make comments and such.

    Now my wordpress page is hosted on my own domain, imtiazwahmed.com and I’m hosting through 000webhost for now. My question is if I make a post, will the page still be visible to those same users using wordpress?

    On WordPress.COM? Nope. But check out the Publicize feature on Jeptpack 2.0 it may help you out.

    hey thanks for suggesting jetpack. I have yet to post but upon installing it, it seems to possibly do what I want. Regardless I do need it for facebook and twitter so it should come in handy. Thanks everyone
