   I would like to post YouTube videos to my blog. They require an API code. How do you get such a code?

   still unresolved.

   there are threads all over the net about this, and no good response from anyone at wordpress.

   I've never needed an API code to post a YouTube video on my blog.

   What am I doing wrong?

   Why is it Wordpress' responsibility to determine another program's code to use? Wordpress has nothing to do with YouTube - so why should Wordpress have to answer support questions about how to use it?

   You don't need to register anything at YouTube. Each video provides you with the stuff you need to insert into your post.

   Are you using a plugin to enter the YouTube video? I've posted several videos on my blog and never had one glitch like that, nor have I ever been asked for an API number.

   If you're using a plugin, which one? How are you trying to enter the video into your blog?

   Like HandySolo, I wonder if I too have been doing something wrong.
