Social not pulling in all tweets

Finding that latest Social (2.6) isn’t bringing in tweets that I know exist and have @ my username. Some tweets are appearing, but mostly RTs – and tweets made by myself i.e. the main account (can these not be disabled?)

I do have approval required on all comments. A theory: is it possible that if I don’t approve a RT, then following comments are seen as part of the same thread and ignored? And then, if I do approve the original RT, it’s too late for the comments to be picked up? (Although if I do a manual check on each post but often nothing is found, including the original RT).

Any clues? Social does look like it could be great if it worked (!) and having tried other plugins I’m not sure there’s anything better…
