Do you use a caching solution?

If so you probably want to set up a unix cron to run the WP corn instead relying on a page hit to kick it off.

A quick google search will yield lots of results on how this is done.

You nailed it. Thanks for your help, Mikey.

Did you run the cron job on wp-cron.php? I’m having the same problem and I set up a manual cron job to run wp-cron.php but so far it is not backing anything up until I log in to the dashboard with the only account (administrator), is there another php file that the cron should be running?

oh and I’m not using anything for caching.
