   Just upgraded a test site to 2.1 from 2.0.5 - nice and quick, just the usual process.

   Everything works fine, apart from the spell checker. I can click the little drop-down and see that English is ticked.

   I am using Firefox 1.5.0.9 on an Intel Mac running OSX 10.4.8

   When I click on the spell checker icon, the editor fades out and the spell checker progress indicator comes up, but it always says 'no misspellings found'.

   99% of my clients use Internet Explorer on Windows, so as long as it functions in that I guess it's not too bad - but I'd really like the spell checker to work for me too!

   Has anyone got any other experience of 2.1 spell checker on OSX?

   I have the same problem - but it happens to me in every browser: Safari, Firefox and IE6 on a Windows XP system. Basically, I get the same symptoms as you - the spell check doesn't seem to work at all for me in WP 2.1.

   Humph - thats not good. I have not had a chance to try it out on anything else apart from my Mac yet, I'll look into this.

   I really don't want to hack the core code to remove this feature, as it is one of the things I am most excited about in 2.1!

   BUMP - anyone else got any experiences to share with the spell checker in 2.1?
