    Hi, it says i need to clear the database tables. Is there an easy way to put my blog posts into the new tables after I’ve exported them?

    Anyone? I wanna get 2.1 up ASAP. I’ve only donw minor upgrades before, not one where a previous install has to be cleared. Do I just swap over the config files?

    I solved it, doing something else… I just edited the /wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php and in the line 134 where it says

    // We are up-to-date. Nothing to do.
    if ( $wp_db_version == $wp_current_db_version )
    return;

    I deleted those lines, upload again that file and did the /wp-admin/upgrade.php again and that solved those issues. After I fixed it, I just restored the lines.

    It worked for me and it’s easier. I hope it helps all.

    OMG, thanks ColimaRadical! You did it! How in the world did you figure that one out?

    The above actions fixed the issue for me!

    scratch the above statement… the upgrade went without a hitch but the problems still exits with in the database.

    I have got articles that are supposed to be drafts down in the published section. I have 4 errors in the blogroll section of admin. I have no blogroll in my side bar. The <!–more–> code is working incorrectly. Maybe more but have not found them yet.

    I have tried everything posted here and nothing yet has fixed it.

    PLEASE HELP!

    @colimaradical,

    hmmm… that fixed it.

    Like everyone else, I’d followed the WP upgrade instructions meticulously (this NOT being my first time upgrading WP) and was still experiencing the errors mentioned.

    Fixed now.

    Thanks again, ColimaRadical.

    Thanks ColimaRadical, that worked for me too.

    Kudos.

    Thanks ColimaRadical – This helped!
